Human relationships can be like molecular attraction.

Some molecules bond together to SHARE electrons...and make a balanced compound.

Some molecules bond together becuz one molecule needs another electron and instead of sharing, it TAKES the other electron, leaving the other molecule unbalanced and weak. Too weak to leave.

Just my observation for the day.

I hope everyone has had a peaceful enjoyable day. Mine has been full of studies, Easter Dinner...the usual.

I feel flattered to know that there are so many nice ppl out there that really do pay attention to what I say. I guess I never gave it much weight (or myself). This is going to sound like some little pity thing but it is not meant that way...I seriously never thot anyone gave much notice of my thots or my words. After all, in the big scheme of things...heck...in the daily goings on of ppl's lives...I am not important. Too many ppl in the world and we all have our personal things to deal with.

Now I must take the time to apologize for things that I wrote on my blog that was attacking in nature. I did not mention names then and I will not mention names now. If the ones I wrote about then are reading this...they will know. It was so very wrong of me. There is no excuse. I misunderstood some things but, even at that, there was no excuse for anything I wrote. Don't go look for it now...I deleted it all.

I have been trying to make amends. But you know...once you put it out there, you can't take it back.

Know this...my deactivation and 'break' that I have taken from the blogstream did NOT have anything to do with that. It was just timing.

For those of you that do not know what all that was that I just wrote about...be glad...have a good week...I will see you in the end.

This is something that I just have to write about...actually...it is two things...and it is things that happened with my kids.

Yesterday was a landmark day for my son. I will not get into the particulars becuz I do not want to embarrass him. It was landmark becuz it not only brought him up short...and hopefully, it will help him to deal with the world better. I know his behaviour the last few weeks has opened my eyes and helped me to put the hammer down a little easier. Let's just say, it was two closely related incidents that caught up with him in one night. He has a choice to make...be the person we have raised him to be OR continue down the road he is going and find a lot more trouble. I told him that the real reason he is being caught when his 'friends' are not is that his parents and grandparents care about him and are always praying for him. God decided to pull the choker on him before he went any further. And he had better pay attention.

The thing that happened today...I took my daughter out shopping for her EAster duds. AND she got her ears pierced. To some ppl this may not sound like a big deal BUT my mother forbade me to get my ears pierced and I didn't get mine done until I was 20 years old. I let my daughter decide if/when she wanted to do this. She will be 12 in September. I picked her up from her grandmother's in Indiana after staying there a few days and she announced to me that she is ready to get her ears pierced and get contacts. okay! So, while in the mall, we passed a store that does ear piercings and I told her that she could do it today if she wanted. She said to wait until we were done shopping. I told her that if she thot about it too much she would 'anxiety' herself out of it. So, we went in and she had it done. She is so excited! I am kinda feeling sad. This ranks right up there with getting her that first bra (sorry fellas...didn't mean to be embarrassing). My baby is getting older. And, when we go on our walks, there is a boy her age that lives down the road. She always gets a funny look on her face when she sees him outside playing basketball. She walks a little faster and stiffer past his house...even tho we are on the other side of the road. sigh. She will be going back to the brick and mortar school this fall. There will be jr. high dances and other social events that involve the mixing of the genders. Somewhere there will be the hand holding, first kiss...oh...I can't bear to think of it!

It is bad enuff that my son is learning to drive and will be getting his first summer job this summer.

The ironic part is...his father has turned out to be so much more protective than I. I have to teach him how to stand back and bite his tongue and hold back while our son makes mistakes. Most of them becuz he has been refusing to acknowledge the fact that he is the son and WE are the parents and that we have rules he has to follow. OH...and that MAYBE...just MAYBE we might know what we are talking about. I dont' get it...I was the GOOD kid growing up at home. Of course, his dad found ALL KINDS of trouble..and even after we were married he refused to follow the rules. It took him a LONG time to learn. But...why should I be punished?
